You may be asking yourself; how do I know that what I am purchasing is in fact authentic? Well, we at BPS got your back.

Every item listed on our website is in fact authentic! Well, how do I know? 

Any signature or game used item will have either a Certificate of Authentication (COA), Hologram, or Letter of Authenticity (LOA). Each one of those signifies authentication of the item in question. Certainly, not just anyone can authenticate an item. Believe it or not, there are companies out there that make a living off verifying autographs (Yes, it's that common).

There are three main companies people will use when verifying items. They are JSA, PSA, & Beckett. All three have a great reputation. These companies also offer In Person Verification, so if you're hosting an Autograph Signing, one of those companies can witness it and those items will be authenticated with an "In Person COA". There are also companies that host so many signings that they have developed their own Authentication team. Basically, whenever they host a signing "said" company will put their company hologram, COA, or LOA next to it. Some of these companies are but not limited to; Steiner Sports, Fanatics, Major League Baseball (MLB),and Tristar. Major League Baseball, Steiner, & Fanatics have exclusive access to game used products from MLB games which is why you will see their authentications next to a lot of our Game Used Items.
